From version 1.1 of both PBDC and the App an update alert will be shown when a new release is available.

NOTE: Both PBDC and the Android App should be the same version numbers if PBDC is not you may see App Closing messages.

PBDC Update

The message similar to the below will be shown if a PBDC update is available.

Selecting Yes will download the installer and ask if you want to install the update.

Selecting yes again will start the PlaneBase installer.

Once the new version is installed, build a new PBData.sqb and copy it to your device, this should then trigger the auto update on starting the app.

Android App Update

To Update the App, open the about screen and a new 'PBM UPDATE AVAILABLE' button will be available

Press this button to download and install the latest App release.

Note: You will only see the update alert in the app if you have built a new PBData.sqb with a newer version of PBDC than the app.
