Logging

NOTE: PlaneBase Mobile does not contain previous registrations for aircraft, However it will show you the last registration the aircraft was logged as.

To Log aircraft in PBM first you need to enter a location into the location box.

Depending on the option you have selected for 'View Base By' the location can be entered as Name, ICAO or IATA code.

Start typing a location in and you will see an autocomplete list of locations appear.

You can select from the list or continue and type in your own location.

Once a Location is entered you can search for a registration,

If the registration is found then the boxes will populate with details and you can Log by pressing the 'Log It' button

if more than one result is found then the results table will be populated, select one of the rows to populate the boxes and then press the Log It button.

When you log a registration the log results table will be shown with the last logged aircraft at the top.

The log results table will show all logged entries for that date.

The image below shows i have logged three registrations OE-ICB (Seen), OE-ICA (Frame) and OE-ICF (Scrape).

Logging Other Marks or Reserved Registrations:

If you search for Mks/Fleet or Reserved then the details will be shown below the Reg box (you need to press the ‘More’ Button).

If an aircraft has details in the Mks field and a Reserved Reg field then both details will be shown below the Registration text box.

the images below shows i searched for bulldog G-CBBC which is marked up as XX515, when the 'Log It' button is Long Pressed you will have the options to log as the current registration or the details shown in other marks.

the same will apply if a reserved registration is available as shown with OE-IAA below.

Single Log Edit:

To Edit a single log entry select the log from the list and change as required,

When you have finished editing press the Edit button,

Single Log Deleting:

To Delete a single log entry select the log from the list and press delete,

If you have 'Add Seen Details' selected in Options then you will see a message asking if you want to remove the seen details from the PBData.file.
