PlaneBase Mobile consists of two programs,
PlaneBase Mobile Database Creator [ PBDC ] is installed and used on your windows PC for creating a database with your logs.
PlaneBase Mobile App [ PBM ] is installed on your mobile device(s) to allow lookup and logging.
PBDC and PBM have been designed by spotters for spotters for use on Android and iOS Mobile devices.
Specifically designed for use on mobile phones, but will also work on tablets.
Designed so you can log and do look ups even if you have no internet connection.
Logs created in PBM are held on the device, you are advised to email your logs when leaving the current logged location so they are ready to be imported in to PlaneBase when you get back to your Pc
Minimum device specifications.
Android devices: Minimum Android release is 5.0.
iOS devices: Minimum iOS release is 11.0.
NOTE: If you uninstall the app on your device you will require a reset by PlaneBase admin to allow you to register the device again..
You will require a file manager on your mobile device, if your device does not already have one,
Android users a file manager can be downloaded from the Play Store or you may already have a Files App on newer devices.
iOS users from iOS 11.0 upwards a Files App is available on your device.
